Friday night was the quarterly Art Walk in our town. What better Sunday activity than Handels Messiah? For the fourth day of December, we went to the Southwest Symphony and Southwest Orchestra's performance of the Messiah. After we finished our bedroom painting, we decided it made sense to tackle all of the ceilings on the main floor.The ceilings had some major, as in Major, texture, so instead of being the cheapskate that I usually I am, I sprungfor the $9.96 roller at Lowe's that's specifically for high texture ceilings. Husband didn't really care to have his picture taken in front of all these places in his hometown.I explained to him that I'm taking them for the future. In twenty or thirty years, I think it'll befun to look back on the town where he grew up - and how young he looks now!I only wish I had pictures of him as a leetle boy in these same places...
