Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. One of the best books I've read in a LOOOONG time. Don't judge it by the description just read it. Trust me.

OK, I have a few. Don't know all the authors, but google will help you! The Shack by William P. Young; Hypocrite in a white poofy dress (a very hilarious memoir); Confederacy of Dunces;Night by Elle Weisel; The Memory Keeper's Daughter (one of my favorites!)

Book of a Thousand Days--Shannon Hale (soooo good)

The Host-- Stephenie Meyer (weird, but once you get past the weird, really good)

My Sister's Keeper-- Jodi Picoult

The Pillars of the Earth - Ken Follet

Ink Exchange-- Melissa Marr

Great and Terrible Beauty Trilogy--Libba Bray (sooo good)

Vampire Academy series-- Richelle Mead (if you're into more vamp stuff)

Prince of Tides-- Pat Conroy (one of my all time favs)

The Giver-- Lois Lowry (oh wow. so powerful. such a quick read. so dang good.)

The Hiding Place--Corrie Ten Boom (cried like a baby. but sooo good.)

Goose Girl Series-- Shannon Hale (beautiful fun books)
